We get delivery from the place. The pizza is good, it has sauce on top of cheese, and an original sauce that is very good. Their wings are awesome with the blended original rams sauce and sweet BBQ mix!! I highly recommend the wings. Price is very reasonable and the delivery is pretty fast. My only wish is that it wasn't so loud at the shop when you call them. It's often hard to hear them and for them to hear us. All in all a great local spot!

The Ram's Head is America. While many of today's establishments try to lure you in with the promise of unique craft beers and artisanal food plates, the Ram's Head chooses not to patronize you with the adjectives du jour whose meaning seems to change daily. What you will find at the Ram's Head is beer, it is cold, and it doesn't come with an instruction manual. You will not find a double digit priced lager or cask ale because no one likes flat beer; furthermore, anyone who says they enjoy the flavor of hops is not to be trusted. The food at Ram's Head is simple and inexpensive, but that does not mean it is not delicious. You will not need a foreign language dictionary, nor will you have to suffer the embarrassment of having to point to a menu item in fear of your pronunciation being mocked. Again, this is America and our ancestors left Europe for a reason, so where does this romanticized idea that they do anything better come from. What is wrong with a pizza with just cheese and sauce, as long as it is done to perfection as it is here? The Ram's Head allows smoking because they are not hypocrites. What sense does it make to allow you to consume alcohol and fatty foods, but draw the line at tobacco? Second hand smoke, boo-hoo, cigarettes are expensive these days, so really you should be thanking these folks for sharing some sweet nicotine. This is not a health club; it is a bar, and a damn good one. So if you love America, and don't need the "crafty" beer, or "artsy" food to carry your conversation, then come to the Ram's Head and have a great time. Also anyone using the word swag as a noun, verb, adjective, or any other part of speech on the premises will be forcefully escorted out.

I like it here. It's a good local bar, I really don't know anyone who lives in the area and can walk to the Ram's Head, but overall it seems cool. I am not a Clifton local, but no one has ever hasseled me here or given me weird looks like I don't belong. Cold beer, good music, it's clean and well managed. The bartenders are cool, for the most part. They have some decent pizza. Parking isn't always great, I usually find something up the street. I never had the take out, the place is on point for it is. I think it is a high 3, almost 4, but I will round up.

Didn't physically go in I hade takeout . I had the original sauce on top pizza but spicy. It was very good but a little on the too spicy side. Also had the mozzarella stick which were pretty good. Would order again

I'm sorry to have to downgrade this bar but from what my husband experienced last night, I have to. My husband came home last night to a very upset stomach and the urge to puke everywhere. Apparently, the pizza at Rams Head was extremely cold. He ate a few pieces for the sole reason that he was hungry. A waitress came over shortly after and explained that fresh pizza was available if anyone would like any. Really? Why wasn't there fresh pizza 2 hours prior? I'm sorry Rams Head but as popular as your bar is, the food should be properly cooked/warm to perfection.

We got take out from here last week and due to it's location, it was really just for convenience and I thought my husband would like to be surprised by a "Gary's Den" pizza. It was just meh. We ordered a regular provolone pizza, an order of chicken fingers, and a dozen wings with the Ram's Head sauce. I didn't pick it up, so I can't comment on the place in that respect, but it did seem like a long time to wait for food, 40 minutes, on a Thursday night after the dinner "rush". I only had one bite of the pizza and it was just ok. I liked the sauce, but I think to really enjoy the whole thing, you have to order extra cheese. I think the former "glory" of Gary's Den has faded and this pizza is just average now. The wings were overdone and small. Although the portion was nice, a full dozen for a decent price, I'm not a fan of the small wings, especially when they are overdone. The sauce was really, really good though. Sweet and spicy, almost like BBQ mixed with hot sauce. The chicken fingers were regular bought-in fingers that you can get anywhere. Generous portion, which was also a pleasant surprise. They were good and my daughter enjoyed them and there was enough for left overs. We probably won't be back...

I have 3 types of experiences with Rams Head 3 different feelings towards it. 1. As a late night bar - not a big fan, a very low brow crowd shows up for the teeny-tiny dance floor and it difficult to get a drink. 2. As a sport bar - I went there for an Eagles game once and they had some great specials. It wasn't too crowded and the bill was surprisingly low for us being there a few hours. 3. Delivery - Hit or miss. The apps (Old bay fries and Onion rings) are great! The pizza, if you finish it quick is ok. Because they do the sauce on top style, it gets cold very quickly. The sandwiches, bleh. Plain cheesesteak is ok, then again that's hard to mess up. The buffalo chicken steak downright sucks. All this said, I'll stay regular of Ram's Head and just be cautious about what I order and when I go.

This is a very friendly bar, especially for being in Clifton Heights. Their spicy pizza is the tits.

Rams Head is a local bar, (formerly Gary's Den) with a few good beers on tap; but being a bar for the locals, it's mostly the budmillercoors variety, and a few others added for variety. An added 3rd star for a good food menu. Pizza is pretty good, apps are good. They put out a take-out menu so you can order takeout. Unfortunately, like many local bars in the area, there is smoking. A shame, the inside of the place is pretty nice.
